Job Description

The Creator Acquisition Lead will report to the VP, Head of Artist & Creator Strategy and will be responsible for managing a team of Creator Acquisition Reps (CARs) as they onboard creators into the app. This individual will develop  strategies, playbooks, and goals and ensure they are being executed by the CARs. 

Key Responsibilities

Creator Outreach:

  • Conduct outreach to high priority creators based on follower segmentation and categorizations

  • Manage prospect list and produce qualified lead list to ensure efficiency and goals are being met by CARs

  • Assist CARs with closing leads when necessary

Team Management:

  • Supervise and oversee day-to-day operations of CARs 

  • Work with Head of Creator Strategy to monitor individual CAR performance, identifying areas of strength and weaknesses and providing feedback to improve results

Creator Relationship Management:

  • Assist on conversations with ongoing creators and serve as additional point of contact and educator of new app developments and activation opportunities. 

Marketing & Research:

  • Conduct research on up and coming creators in the social media landscape.  

  • Assist with budget management for paid creator opportunities 

Tracking & Reporting:

  • Manage creator database, keeping track of key details, progress, and potential opportunities on a daily basis. 

  • Monitor and report on creator acquisition numbers, analyze metrics and provide insights for improvement. 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience working in a creator partnerships role, sales development / partner facing role at a social media company, high growth startup or creator-focused platform

  • Strongly passionate about the creator economy and social media creator community

  • Experience managing sales funnel spreadsheets, building and executing against key targets and goals

  • Proactive ability to manage the creator acquisition funnel: identify, pitch, acquire, retain

  • Deep understanding of the creative landscape and possess an existing network of creators, influencers, talent agents, managers or YouTubers

  • Outstanding skills in communication, and problem-solving, enjoy communication with the creators community

  • Passion for music and technology

  • Creative and proactive approach to creator onboarding
